Account Agent
Operating out of our offices on the North Shore of Boston and from home offices, FinCo Management's Account Agents are responsible for:
- Training and assisting the automobile dealerships' sales and finance & insurance (F & I) staff so they are knowledgeable on processing sales contracts with our software.
- Processing and providing quality assurance for automobile dealership sales contracts submitted to FinCo Management.
- Following up with dealership staff if sales contracts are missing information or have invalid information.
- Forwarding pertinent information via phone or email to our service partners or management.
- Assisting management with office duties that may be required from time to time.
Agents must have telephone customer service experience and be confident with technical support roles.
Required Skills:
Computer Skills - Candidates must be experienced with PCs, Windows, and Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. We expect that you can copy and paste data from an Excel file, create, fill and format a new spreadsheet, import the data from that spreadsheet into a new table in Word, modify the look and feel of the table, and send the resulting document via email. You have no problem creating and managing your own electronic file system, and you can locate printers on a network, initiate internet searches, and install software programs. You can modify the resolution of your computer screen in 10 seconds or less. You are ready to show us these skills during your interview.
Technical Support - Your confidence in your computer skills will be immediately apparent as you learn our software, and then remotely demonstrate our software's use and benefits via telephone and web-conferencing tools to our dealer base (who are casual computer users). You will also train the dealer's employees through interactive web-cast sessions and in many cases the training will happen while the dealer's customer is present so the dealer can ask questions of them.
Detail Oriented - In processing a dealer's new contracts, you will review documents and assess discrepancies, and then take corrective action with the dealer. Your experience working with numbers will make the management of multiple documents for each customer second nature to you.
Humor - The missing component of many customer service centers, your sense of humor will help you help the dealer when they just don't understand, as well as help you fit in a rapidly growing company.
The account agent position is a part-time, 20-30 hr/wk. A six week training period will be required in our Marblehead location. Training hours will be weekdays some time between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Once training is completed, flexible work schedules may be available which could include a work from home arrangement and/or night and weekend hours.
Requirement for the "work from home" option will be a high-speed internet connection service with no wireless connection, or a wireless connection that can be disabled during working hours.
Knowledge of auto or financial industry is helpful, but not required.
Minimum high school diploma required.
Background check required which may include criminal and consumer reports.
Compensation: $15/hr
